Sweet, Sensitive, Playful, Gentle, Cautious

Grace was the foundation female for our breeding program. She is THE most wonderful girl. Sweet, affectionate, easy & soft to train, cuddly, athletic & agile but never rough or too boisterous. She whelped beautiful puppies and was an absolutely wonderful Dam to her babies. She is an 'easy keeper' with no medical issues. At 6 1/2 years old, we kept her grand-daughter Dizzy, out of Vida. At that point, we felt it was time to let her have the couch and lazy life. Wanting her to be the spoiled princess she absolutely deserved to be. In our house, with 4 (at the time) other dogs, 2 kids and daily exercise that was behind two horses, relaxation and serenity was not to be found! So, in a bitter sweet decision, we placed Grace with a wonderful couple, Deb and Bob, who had one of Graces first daughters. They have had her since March 2014 and she is loved and adored. I can't express my gratitude enough, to Deb and Bob for taking care and loving 'my' girl, who I miss dearly but don't doubt for a minute that she is in the best possible family for her now. Grace is spayed and enjoys relaxing daily walks, uninterupted couch time and summers at the cottage, taking it easy on the boat or lying in the sun with 'dips' into the lake to cool off.

"Grace" was flown to us from Amsterdam, Netherlands on Sunday July 8, 2007. Thanks to Ilona Griffioen of Casahoya's Portuguese Water Dogs in the Netherlands, who sent me this precious little girl. And thanks to Kristin and Jason of Bristol, Connecticut who were kind enough to bring Grace to the U.S.A. with her brother Achilles.

New CH

On Aug. 30, 2008 my little lady and I achieved our Canadian Champion status at the Corwall Kennel Club show under Judge Robert Whitney.

CH. Casahoyas Glamorous "Grace"

It continued to be a great weekend when I handled Grace through the breed and then proudly handed her off to my friend Linda Thompson who handled her beautifully in a very tough group of 13 amazing dogs. It was a great moment when Judge Gerona MacCuaig gave them a wonderful placement of Group 3rd! We were thrilled!

Thanks to Linda Thompson and Shari Robinson for ALL the grooming, coaching, handling and friendship that they gave to Grace and I throughout our journey.
